Dude, TFT

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

looks alright, pretty low res for the size (a 19" crt will do 1600x1200 usually)

Sounds reasonable price, I've not looked for 19"ers much, but 17"ers can be gotted for around £150..

Both of my 19" TFT's can;t do 1600 x 1200, but granted they are about 2 years old now, so that's probably why.

I didn't realise newer one's could do this res' as I haven't really looked at any since.

I really miss my 1600 x 1200 resolution on my 21" girth monster I stuck in Bobbins boot(y) and would love to be able to play games at that resolution again, but saying that, my card isn;t anywhere close to running new games at that res' anyway

imho a crt is better for gaming than a TFT, although they are getting quicker, they still arent as cheap. i like my 7 year old dell P991, hasnt died on me yet.

What do you think of it Bobbins? It makes a nice "boing" sound when you turn it on doesn't it!

heh, I have managed to have (And no longer have) 3 monitors with a "Boing!" noise.. The first two succumbed to some weird discoloration [It was not my fault that I slammed a sledgehammer through them*] The third got stoled by my little sister when I acquired this new peice of loveliness.
