I enjoyed the demo on the 360. Much like BF games but a bit less realistic and it's got some nice gadgets. I've got a key and downloading now.

I kind of like this. So far I'm enjoying it more than Quake Wars, it's less confusing and feels more tangible. QW always made be feel detached from the game world, if that makes sense. This feels a lot more solid, like the BF games.
Good:
- Shooting rockets at vehicles is good fun, especially if they don't know how to use chaff.
- There's some nice tools that are easily unlocked, sentry guns, various airstrikes, air and ground drones and more I haven't tried yet.
- Looks quite nice.
Bad:
- There doesn't appear to be a ranking system, so no long term rewards.
- <strike>Unlocks reset at the start of each round.</strike> Unlocks are persistent to some degree, maybe until you quit the game or change server.
- Some texture load and other graphical glitches.
- <strike>I've no idea how to make or join a squad.</strike> Press "X", although I've not been in a squad yet.

Why no love? Or interest for that matter. Have I missed a scathing review somewhere?

My lack of interest so far has been due to:
A) Having at least three other games taking up my time at the moment.
B) Suns have lived and died in less time than it would take me to download it.

What is it? Some shooty game with a bland, nondescriptive name? The video on their site won't even play.

It's basically another Battlefield type of game. It's on consoles as well so it's slightly more arcady but still has depth. There's lot of vehicles, as you'd expect, but the best thing is the weapons and tools. You can mix the two. Weapons classes included assault, heavy assault, anti-vehicle, sniper, etc. and you can combine them with tools which include a selections of remote drones (either shoot or explode), airstrikes (precise, cluster, napalm), EMP (disable vehicles and stuff), etc.
General combat is good enough and being a BF veteran gives you an edge.
There's plenty of videos here if you want to take a look:

But is it any good?

As I've already said; I quite like it.
The beta only has 2 maps so it gets samey after a few rounds. But if you love the BF series, like me, I recommend you try it. Although I appreciate there's other priorities at the moment, like raiding CoH.

I trust your opinion spoodie. I'm sorry if I've made you angry, I just wanted clarification as to whether it's any good.

You'd have to try harder than that to make me angry, but I wouldn't recommend it as I've just been polishing my admin hammer. Yes, you read that right.

If you're tidying the armoury, my rod could do with a quick buffing.
