Magma Expressbox

Just come across this; a box that you can put pci-express graphics cards, sound cards etc. and connect it easily to your laptop for 'gaming on the move'.

I thought it sounded rather good until I saw the price tag. Might as well just spend the extra money (which would probably translate to about £500 knowing the way things are priced in the UK) on a better laptop.

Unless you can't get the functionality you need in
any laptop, which could well be the case for several of the applications they've listed.
Also, maximum power draw for the PCI Express card is 50W, one more way in which this would be a poor solution for mobile gaming.
