CoH Themed Team

Well, since there has been interest shown in this idea (Hi Dog Pants), who fancies a themed team of new characters? We could all run around like one big bunch of spandexed gayers, much like now, only with more coordination in appearance. However, this raises the question of what the theme should be? A recreation of the X Men would be rubbish, so who has some good ideas?

I like this idea. Kind of like the faaabulous thing.

Some (shit) ideas that've popped into my head:

TF2 characters
Cannon Fodder (Tiny and always running in a line)
Kids from Dungeons & Dragons cartoon
Famous superheroes, with AIDS

I've already cornered the market in ugly fat chicks. Plus it's hard to do with the character modelling.

Which bad 80s TV stars did you have in mind Berk? Can I do Max Headroom?

How about cartoon characters? Skeletor, He-Man, Lion-O, Panthro, Bravestarr etc etc. In terms of creating COH characters, I think this idea might have a bit more potential. In fact, Bananaman would be pretty easy, and Captain Bucky O'Hare might be possible too.

SHOTGUN CHEETARA!!! or suppose Bucky O'Hare may be relevant...

Pffft. Isn't creating representations of existing superheroes against the EULA?

Possibly, but that would mean reading it, so I don't know. Do cartoon characters from 15 years ago count?

I don't know, I can't remember the exact words. I'm sure I read somewhere though that if you create something that infringes on the copyright of someone else's (DC, Marvel etc.) character then you get the admin stick.

We could have a series of completely identical characters (we'd probably have to do char creation over TS) with names like Spartacus/Spurtacus/Spartacurse etc.

Atlas would ring with the cries of "I'm <strike>Brian</strike> Spartacus!"

After my posts earlier this morning I had the same thought when I was driving to work. No issues of copyright infringement and admin sticks, and still lots of lols. I like it. So, to summarise:

So are we all going to have to get on the character generation thing at the same time and try to organise this simultaneously? :shudder:

I'd've thought it'd be better if one person did it, took notes and screenshots.
