We have a POS!

Post by Hehulk »

Following negociations with BS.I, we're now in a position to have the following:

1 Large Minmatar Tower
1 Intensive Refining Array
7 Corporate Hanger Arrays
2 Ship Fitting Arrays
2 Warp Scramble Arrays
4 Large Artillery Batteries
4 Medium Artillery Batteries
4 Small Artillery Batteries
2 Webbifier Batteries

And all their remining POS fuel.

Total estimated ISk Value: 300 million.

What BS.I want: Aprox 120 MIl

Can I be a god now?

The only catch is we've got to sneak up there with enough isotepes for 3 hours, so they can finish unanchoring everything. Then it's ours.

Woohoo! Our plans are turning material. So what do we need to be doing between now and the move to prepare?

If the plan is still a stealth move then should we all be trying to get as much cargo space as possible, with cloaking if possible?

And very well done by the way, a large control tower is better than we had hoped.

Right, as it's all getting sorted again, here's what's left:

ISS Membership. I know your on it Fea, so it's sorted there.

POS Fuel - We've mined a hell of a lot of ice, but it's just not giving the kind of buffer I was hoping for. We've got isotobes for 8 days, heavy water for 5, and liquid ozone for 3, so when we do put it up, we're gona have to get mining extremly sharpish so as to be able to come back to empire and buy a load of it.

Somewhere to live - I know Fab's working on the list of systems I gave him, so that's getting sorted.

The one big thing, it the POS parts. I'm gona be dropping them off in zinkon, but they're gona need collecting. I suggest we set-up an office there so I can dump em off and you guys haul em back to elgoi.

POS Item Fuel - For the pos to run for one week (if soverginity applies the way I think it does) we need:
504its Enriched Uranium
3150 Units Oxygen
63000 Units Mechanical Parts
1008 Units Coolant
126 Units Robotics
56,700 Units Hydrogen Isotobes
18,900 Units Liquid Ozone
18,900 Units Heavy Water

That's gona have to be sorted. Finially, 1 weeks POS fuel takes up 30,177 M3, so a freighter is kinda gona be required at some point just to relieve this logistical nightmare. Fortunatly, I know that FabYak at least has all the pre-requists for it, so thre's a partial sollution.

Just remeber. Once we solve these last few problems, that's it. ISK central time.

Once i've dropped the stuff off for BS.i. I will hang around in Zinkon and take as much stuff back as I can with me (dump it in Elgoi at first I assume?) I can set my indie on autopilot at work as well to go back for the next lot if no-one else wants to do it

I'm available aswell, the Cum Tug 2 is at your service. only 8500 cum but I've not got a job so time is not a problem (except when Bubble is at home..)

Having got the Cum Tug 1 ganked this morning, I'll be specially careful what systems I travel through...

be thee warned! its 34 jumps from elgoi to zinkon if you stay out of 0.4 and lower. i know this, because due to a slight miss understanding on my part, i am docked in in zinkon, waiting for the POS bits to arrive. which i think actually starts to happen tomorow. bah

Just been speaking with Katya from BS.i and he thinks it will probably be easier for everyone if I join BS.i for a couple of days, take down the POS myself, then bring it back to 5punkorp and rejoin...

what do you guys think? (I dont mind doing it if you guys dont mind me vanishing from corp stuff for a few days) (as long as I can get my job title and roles back once again when I come back!) (and Fea, if its you that deals with my application, remember the accept button is the one you want  )

What's a POS?

Anyone care to give a brief summary as to what's going on for us outsiders :?

At great personal risk, we're about to put up a basic space station out in deep space. It'll have a basic kitched and showers, and some nifty sized guns. It'll also have a refinery larger than a house.

POS Stands for Player Owned Structure (and you ever though of playing eve? I recon you'd enjoy it)
