COD and COD:UO Stories!

When I'm playing COD on a non DM server it seems to fell....real...Maybe I just get into it to much. Like if I see some one I know (or been talking to alot) get shot by jerrys I got rambo style...

Story 1: Tankage
Map: Rhine
Mode: Base Attack

Just joined the server as allie. The score was pretty bleak. Something about 6Axis to 1Allie.

I see a panzer tank and jump in it. Riding along I sneak up behind a German panzer. Boooom its gone. Carry on another Panzer it fires a shot but misses I fire one back and boom (The tanks must of been hurt already or I had a super tank). Came up a sherman tank, Thought nothing.Drive past BOOOM, Been hit turn around it was the bloody sherman. So I fire a shot back not sure if it hit and I drive behind a tree. Sherman fires another shot hits the tree. I poke out shoot and it hits. He backs off and fires another shot that goes way behind me and I finish him off. I drive to a base where we just planted a bomb. Iam the only tank and am quiet scared. I notice a German trying to sneak in. Hes gone. A panzerfaust(sp) flys over my tank turn around ratatatata hes gone. Mow down another, Blew up a jeep with three people in, Blew up a sniper. In all I killed about 10 people. 3Tanks with only one live and a battered tank.(After it was hit by Sherman) When the bomb blew it was the end of the match and my score was something like 17/20 - 0 ahaa..erm...

I think you must of had one of the bigger tanks liek the Elephant, as they take out tanks with one shot, but they are unable to point the gun anywhere other than straight ahead, so you need to turn the tank, and not just the gun. Even so, that is damn good work

My most memorable was in orginal COD MP, when playing Team Deathmatch on the map (forget the name) which is used in the the 3rd level of the single player mode I think.

Anyway, I found this nice little place where you can lay down with a Kar98k, and there's a just a little window where people have to walkthrough to progress further into the map.

I think I won the match for my team with something like 102 kills, and and only 4 deaths.

I don't do this very often, as camping in one place is pretty lame, but that day I enjoyed it, especially as it was annoying a random clan who joined the server, and even their snipers couldn't get rid of me

I think some of the best though has just been driving people around from A to B like I'm some sort of London Cabbie driver.

Either way, COD does seem very realistic, and immerse's you in your surroundings if you let it.

Story 2: Teh Her0
Map: foyi(Snow map)
Mode: Base attack.

Its 1 base left for both teams. I jump in a sherman and head to the last German base. I hear a jeep and look around see and follow it then boom its up in the air and so are two germans. I carry on as I see the last base which has been bombed to rubble a panzer shoots and hits me. I fire back and swifty move the panzers second shot just missing me then I shoot back and kill the panzer. I hop out of the tank and smoke my way into the bunker, I threw a nade down into the bunker then ran in spraying my BAR like mad and killing the defending german. I plant the bomb and two allies drop in(scaring the shit of out me both times one after another). Then I see the germans planted a bomb in our last bunker.

I run outside and jump in a jeeps, our bunker not far. Dodging bomb and bullets I race to the bunker. I get out my jeep and jump prone into whats left of the bunker, My jeep getting battered and then blown up by a tank. I run downstairs and chuck a primed nade killing the two defending germans. If it at about 3/4s done I run to the bomb. As I defuse it ticks at me...I snare at it and it still ticks at me!!! DEAR GOD ITS GONNA BLOW! oh..I defused it... Wooo. At this point all I get is "fuck fuck shizen !!!" from the germans then hear a distant boooom. The german bunker just blew making the allies the winners!!WOoo

....I think I need to see a doctor now...This game is slowly taking over my life...

Yay! Story Time!

Place: Carentan
Type:Seek and destroy

Me and WEY were both on german, defending the two artillery guns. We both went to the gun closest to the American lines. WEY took the MG post and i got my unscoped Kar out.

After several seconds of WEY firing bursts down a street we hear someone called Snipergod calling us n00bs. I proceeded to take him out from the same window twice, both with headshots in the two rounds he played before dropping.

Through the entire game, not one American made it to mine and WEYs position. Although they did blow up the other gun a few times...

I've never laughed so much in a game in all my life - all thanks to Sledra.

Joined him in a game of S&D (which I've never really played before, but I soon proceeded to kick arse ). It started off quite badly, with me shooting him twice even though he was on my team. However soon got into it, Sledra driving the jeep & me gunning before jumping out to defend the objectives.

Some guy then joins the game on our team called IHATEGOD (or some such). He gets a bit miffed when he misses the jeep ride, and starts shooting at it and us also. We were already a fair way across the map at this point, but Sledra 'handbrake' turns and heads back toward the base. Thundering towards him, I can see IHATEGOD picking up ammunition, looking down on the ground. Then, at the last second he looks up. SPLAT! :twisted: Bond-like, Sledra quips: "I don't like people shooting at my car".

Barely minutes later on the same map (IHATEGOD has left by this time), I am again at the MG of the jeep, but with two other people in it now. I look behind and see Sledra driving along on his own, so I shoot a few rounds off just above his head ('cos I'm funny like that). Then, for reasons known only to himself, the guy in the passenger seat jumps out. Right in front of Sledra's jeep.

SPLAT!

The thing is, the bloke when absolutely flying. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up on the other side of the map. Shame I didn't get any screenshots.
