The newest notch on my MMO bedpost is City of Heros. Anyone else played this? Its cracking!

Basically, you make your own custom hero, then go out to Fight Crime!

Biff! Smack! Crunch! For Freedom! etc!

great stuff. My heros currently include a mechanical knight, a strong midget in a miniskirt, a gimp with a sword and a gravity controlling disco lesbian. Hurrah for silly games!

actually, ive spent considerably more time making characters than i have actually playing the game. Its crazy fun. :D

It does look ace, but I just can't justify paying a monthly subscription for a game, as I don't spend enough time online gaming to warrant the money.

heh, most of the time im on beta tests for things. Then, when it actually comes out and they want money for things, i move on to the next beta test

So far ive been on the beta for WoW, Saga of Ryzom, and that warhammer 40k game (which isnt a mmo, i know. but still) and had trial goes on EQ, SW galaxies and....er....summat else which the name escapes me.

but EVE ive stuck with cos its so bloody good. And CoH i was too enthused by the idea not to give it a go.

I have discovered that i am currently paying for more mobile phones than i need to, so may have enough cash to go with WoW *and* EVE, but i probably wont bother if others arent going on WoW.

Furthering my status as MMO whore, ive signed up for the two week trial of Saga of Rhyzom. I played t in beta and it was...a bit...well...cack. Due to unfinished-ness, largely.

Tis much better now though, with this whole action thingy that is currently boggling my poor ickle brain.
