is there a current regular mining OP in PB?

I have a hulk out in PB but no faction tank yet so am entirely reliant on others to provide a tank, otherwise I'm parked near all this nice ore but can't mine it for profits

If there is a regular op, let me know and I'll try to arrange some play tiem around it so I can join you. If not, then I suggest we set one up, perhaps around the times that the regular miners already get out there (if there is a regular time). This would also be good to arrange the odd ice mining session to feed teh Tower.

/me cries

Tis a sad day for 5punkorp that a whole weekend passes without a post or reply!

And alas, I'm not likely to be able to return for awhile. My efforts to acquire funding for a new laptop through student loans have met with an obstacle that cannot be overcome until at least the end of January!!!! The lack of Eve and time spent w/ you lot has been terribly depressing, along with the seasonal budget worries that are compounded by higher heating and fuel costs.

Damn I miss playing Eve and chatting with you lot!

(/me has been forced to play old PS2 games to take his mind off the lack of Eve. Simply maddening!)

Wish I could come and mine with you Bomber! I'd mine ice for a week straight if I could bring my laptop back to life!

I will have financial funds in place for my carrier with in next 2 days. After that I will be making plans to come out there with Kenny with in next 2 weeks. He'll be Thanatos and Rorqual qualified pilot.

Do we have corp alts that can run cyno chains and in location?

How many cyno points for a carrier pilot with Jump Drive Cal 4, Jump Fuel Conservation 4 and how about for rorq pilot?

Also how are things out there? I heard about a DD from BoB and MC over the weekend, does that mean they are out on contract or back at home?

dp

ps

i am also having a good old fashion swap meet of my hangar. I'll be making a list for everyone to see.

I missed this post somehow! There is no current regular mining ops atm, but we should make one soon. It's not really fun keeping the helium in the tower solo. I'll get on tonight and update the spreadsheet as I never got around to it after I put another 4 days of Isos in.

Dolly - please read the other thread where I already answered all your questions. The difficult to get to cyno alts are all in position and on one account which I'll PM you the details if you need it.

I've decided that my skills will be much better suited to NR as i'm doing nigh on cockall for 5punkorp during my limited playing time so this way (if I can borrow a Mack) I can drag out fuel for us when i'm on so it will benefit the greater good

so i'm about to stick in my app for NR and if it can be approved at around 5:00pm tomorrow GMT that would put me at exactally 2 years service on this run for 5punkorp

Sheet is updated. We are good on everything but the helium iso atm. I really can not get a op organized as weekends would be the best time, but I have my son and I'm never sure when I can get on. So I'm not going to schedual one I'm not sure I can make, and I doubt all you UKers would like to start to mine at 0:00 eve time.

But it seems quiet out there and I got a good run going when I can end chains in the ice belt. 50 blocks of ice equal about 4-5 days of helium isos in case you were wondering.

I still have about 18 days left for jump drive op 5 so eh, I'll get there one day. ^^

my most common online times are monday/wed/fri evenings, 1800-2100 EVE, but that's the middle of weekdays for you AK, I think...

...or early sat and sun mornings, 0530-0800 EVE as I am old and so need little sleep these days

0600 EVE on a sat morning would be Friday nighttimes for you I think Ak, might that work? My only caveat is I need to keep quiet on the kb so as not to rile a sleeping bubble (damn open plan living :P )

0600 I think is 1 am my time, bit to late to start ice mining hehe. narf my best times to be sure I'll be able to make it would be 2300+. Family time before 9pm heh.

I did mine another 50 blocks of ice and got us another few days of helium. The sheet has been updated to reflect it. As before the only think we are short on are the helium isos at 7days. I'm going to try and get on sometime in the afternoon this weekend if my son allows and maybe we can get one of the infamous impromptu mining ops going for fuel.
