UT3 has received at least one good review score but I'm not going to get it unless other 5punkers start playing it.

UT3 is promising, but I suspect 5punk will wait until it's cheaper.

I'm probably not going to get UT3, considering I really don't care for UT2004 and I suck at deathmatch.

Bah, I knew there was something! I was off work today, UT3 is probably waiting there for me.

Tesco didn't have GH3 for 360 with the Les Paul controller, so I got Timeshift - as it sems very similar in concept to Crysis, but I wanted to see if it, instead was any good.

Need to hear more about a few of the others that tempted, NFS, Mario & Sonic, NiGHTS, Mass Effect, Kane & Lynch, Mario Party. Telly Addicts would have been a good Christmas one, if they actually released it on Wii before Christmas. Suppose I could get the PS2 one.

Mario Galaxy is unusual and 3D. I haven't played Mario since the Super Nintendo, so it's all a bit unusual. Seems good though.

I think he's been 3D since the N64, but I've always found them rather annoying, excepting the Kart, Golf and Paper spinoffs. Odd, as I've put many hours into the similar-style Zelda and Sonic games.

So is that the only guitar or is there a more basic one? The Les Paul looks like pretty cool, I'm going to get the game for xmas I think.

I think you can use the GH2 or third-party ones, and there were some based on the Stratocaster around - if that's your preference (it's not mine). There was a news story about some of the GH3 packs being boxed with the old controllers, but I think that was just a blip in the US.

I'd prefer a semi-hollow Rickenbacker, but the Gibson will do. I think Rock Band comes with a Fender, so it'll be something different and I'll have two. Mostly looking forward to being able to play the bass parts.

IIRC it's a remake of a Sega Saturn game. Was much raved about at the time (1996) but I never grabbed a copy. My Saturn's batteries are long dead, and the game fetches £50 on ebay - a PS2 port will be available next year in Japan.

I never saw the attraction - it looked like a Sonic game with flying to me, and it kind of hinted you needed the Saturn "3D" controller to play it (it had a thumbstick, the Saturn didn't). The PS2 ver would do it great justice, but if it's unobtainable this Wii version could be good.
