Civilization has me hooked again, havent played since it sucked me in years ago maybe as far back as the Amiga days. It's much the same as it always was but its one of those games were you just have to have one last turn until hours have passed.
Only
£18 at play.com if you're interested. If you liked it before and like me havent played for years then you should definately get it. Never tried online though ...

God damn, I love Civ. Unfortunately I also have about four other games I don't have time to play at the moment too, but I'll get it eventually.
Does it support PBEM (I think Civ III did)? I always like that idea for Civ.

My floorware version JUST WONT WORK!

Mine worked fine once I installed and configured antiblaxx, handy tool that

Without anti-blaxx it asks for the disk
With anti-blaxx it just crashes after the boot splash screen.
However, research seems to indicate that this could be the fault of Civ4 rather than the fact that its floorware. Whether it works on your machine or not seems to be a bit of a lottery, legit or otherwise.

Ive finally made it work. Seems rather good, but ive only managed a brief look.

I should have a legit copy of this by now but it looks like the postman has another one of my games/DVDs/CDs to add to his collection. At least I've paid for it so my floorware copy is morally legit.
Anyone up for a game, I would even try PBEM? In fact that would probably be prefered as I like to have a think about my moves.

I would be up for some PBEM. How does it work when there are many people?

I'd do PBEM too. If I had the game. Which I don't.
Although I will after Christmas I expect
