loes!
I have a bespoke piece of software having a spack because of a particular file or files, but I can't tell which files these are. Anyone know of a way to investigate which they are or step through the program that is having the problems to find out? It's a 16 bit DOS program so most of the usual dependency programs won't touch it, anyone any ideas?

I have a book called How to Break Software which im sure has some tools on the CD it comes with that could do this, sadly it has not turned up since the last house move so if anyone has it and could have a look i'd be most grateful. And if you haven't read it it's worth a try, really rather interesting!

I don't know of any software off hand, however I do know the keyword you want to use.

Dependencies

You are looking for an executable's (or a DLL's) dependencies.

Happy googling :p
