BoB Standings

Be aware that BoB have recently had a standings clear out, and NR didn't make it onto the new list. While this can be sorted out given time, it may not be. It won't be a problem in PB as BoB don't come into the MC constellation. Just be careful when hauling into Chamemi though (I just lost a cyno alt there which puts an end to jump hauling for the night, tho i did get the new POS down to Y-C safely).

BoB have been reset to neutral for us.

Edit: fucked up the fuel count. Mano's stuck at a POS in PFK until I get Fea to jump some more Oxygen Isotopes to her. Jump hauling when in a huff ftl :P

Well, there might be a couple things left to shoot in Eve, I made 50 mil ratting Sunday, and had 3 faction spawns.

Easy ways to make isk for dummies*:

Farm lv4s in a raven. I did it with silver with oh, 700K of relevant Sp in the thing?
Production. Pretty much any production these days is profitable, some more so than others (Like how I make 200 mil/week running 9 slots on Silver, but that takes 1/2 bilion+ :))
Mining. Your all competant miners, or have competant mining alts. Sitting in 0.9 sucking on plagioclase is good isk for little work
0.0 ratting. Friz is always saying to me how empy GW is. That means it's easy to rat there safely.
Farming datacores is a set it and forget it thing that nets me something like 50 mil/week atm, and that's gona go waaay up in the next few months as I get more agents

I make quite alot ratting in PB in my Harbinger (BC)! You get a surprising amount of dual/triple BS spawns, and I've had quite a few Dark Blood too. Triple 1.1 Mill spawns are not uncommon at all - and its so easy to tank, especially for Amarr armour tankers (60% EM Base). Salvage is pretty good too, alot of armour plates from BC and above mostly. The BS spawns all use Heavy Nos, but with one cap rig and tech II cap mods + Skills, I dont even need a cap booster normally.
The MC Guys are really good about it too - I have informal arrangements with a number of the usual ratters, where we split the belts in a system; I'll take the bottom half of the list, and they take the top! Shows the power of asking politely :)

Alot more unfriendlies passing through there recently though - first noticeable effects of the retreat?

I do too! I was in Goram just last week, buying a POS and moving it around. Oh, and I built 26 ships last week there, and just before that I was near Jita making Magnetometric Sensor Clusters for the corp. It's just the only place I make isk for myself happens to be Period Basis, where I refine/pay people for their mins.

Making isk is easy. Give 10bill to someone and get them to do it for you :)

Sure thing

As a guide, for loans I usually go for 10% per month with full repayment within 3-4 months.

If it's a bond or share deal then I'll need to know the business plan and RoI.

Hmm, I wasn't actually being serous, but possibly in a few weeks when I've time to spare.....

Do many of you use investments and shares/ISOs for making ISK then? I was looking into such financial matters vis-a-vis funding my goal of having a carrier......are such things worth the risk?
Thoughts welcome!*

Except those thoughts. Keep that to yourself, you dirty dirty 5punker!

Just as an aside, I'll be training the 11days of skills I need for a Retriever/Strip mining/Ice mining etc before Xmas, as will K00p; dual mining for the Ice to ISK program, hooray! Wont have time to mine until the Xmas holidays though, barely getting on at all at the mo.

Depends how many months you are off your carrier. I was going to do similar for my dread, but I ran the numbers, corrected myself, and realised I'd be better off just running my own personal industry that requires about 2 hours once a week than investing in a publically owned corporation or a new IPO.

In Friz's case it's different, as it's alot harder to effectivly leverage 10 bil that it is to manage 1/2 bil...

IPO's/Bonds/Shares are something to do with spare isk that you have lying around. It's not a fast way to make isk, but better than letting it sit idle in the bank.

This was my thinking. I'm still 80 days off the Carrier (I know, I know, its a long term goal, about time I got focused! lol).

Production is more profitable in the short term then, eh? Is that skill intensive? By which I mean, do you need alot of specific skills before it becomes sufficently profitable...?
