I've heard NASCAR 08 has all the graphics you'd expect and more, so I'm definitely getting it.

It's actually a lot more fun than watching it would indicate. The relative postions of the other cars mean it isn't all just "turn left, repeat", though that depends on how well the game adapts to you, otherwise you could be on your own most of the time, which sucks.
