Do want.
Will have.
Will probably purchase if not shit.

How many series were there? I've got four but I keep thinking I'm missing one.

Yes, yes they do. It's the only logical explanation for such a difference in release date.

That's rather excessive differences.

Probably have to wait for the Atlantic ocean to fill up before they can ship stuff over on a boat.

Or they're hoping that the $ will swell and the £ will shrink.

You see, the price of a strong economy.

Hmm. Wikipedia and my DVD collection say 4. Any links to where I can find out about (or preferably buy) season 5? Is it available on region 2?

EDIT: Unless you mean season 5 is the impending season cut from the movies?

I went by what it says on IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0149460/episodes#season-1

But you're right, it doesn't appear to be on DVD. :?

there are 5 AIRING seasons, but only 4 PRODUCTION seasons, the DVD box sets are based on production seasons and thus there are four of those

Isn't Futurama hugely popular? I can't see why they never released the last series.

Read up, they did. There were only 4 series' produced, FOX stretched and chopped it into 5 airing seasons.

Still can't believe FOX cancelled it. Muppets.

Ah right, so I'm not missing out on any episodes then? As far as I know, Fox had a long standing issue with Matt Groening. He was constantly making digs at them in The Simpsons, but they couldn't retaliate because it was one of their best selling shows. When he did the same in Futurama they didn't have the same problem, so snip it went. I'd have thought someone else would have taken it up, but maybe Fox still hold the copyright.

It's .. erm .. available.

It's okay, not a laugh riot or anything but watchable enough. There's plenty of references to the episodes and homages from other sources, for the geeks like me. The major (and maybe predictable) problem is that the plot seems overstretched.
