just had a look about
all the stuff is locate in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\resource
steamscheme.res allows you to edit some layout and colour bits.

I'm currently making the default skin more square, I hate curvey skins and this steam skin is just taking it too far. Only problem is theres loads of image files to de-curve, i've done the most obvious ones but theres still loads more.
I'll post it on 5punk when i'm done if anyone wants it... or if i get done anyway.
