How To Broadcast Your Own Show :

Read THIS article detailing how to get Shoutcast working, if you have any queries, please ask in this thread.
The server details you will need are as follows :

Address: 217.112.95.67
Port: 8000
Password: lamb (this will change occasionally, for security)
Encoder settings: 96|112|128 kbps (depending on your bandwidth)

Providing nobody abuses the shoutcast server, the password will stay the same, but try to remember to turn it off before you sleep, or watch porn.

If you are doing a show, stick it on the scheduler, and spam on the disco board, they people will listen.


How To Listen :

When a show is playing the Radio icon will let people viewing the forum know what track is currently playing, and you can listen to the show by clicking on the "Artist-Title" text, or clicking on the Listen button on the 5cheduler like this one :



(NOTE : You can listen to Shoutcast stations through most media players such as WinAmp, iTunes, MediaMonkey, VLC, MPC and so on, but to listen using WMP, you need to use This

Stuff worth noting that i cba to squeeze into the original post:

Video streaming is enabled and allowed, though obviously no porn is allowed.

http://www.scvi.net/ has info on how to stream video.

As far as radio goes you can stream at whatever bitrate you like but 96kbps is advised for uk users (as it'll allow plenty of bandwidth for gaming for host and listeners)
