so i just switched on, started the game up, and i was told it was out of date and to update, so i clicked yes, i updated and now

Strange, did you do anything, or did it unfuck itself magically? May just have been some random process going rogue and taking the game with it.

On the CAEK Forums there have been a load of peeps having problems with the Update.. I had none at all strangely enough and I have both the Windohs and Linux versions of the game.

As for the update, it did actually magically unfuck itself lol, i restarted steam and it was ok.
