What websites do you buy your printer ink from? I havent bought any for ages but now that I need some all the websites just seem to be selling real ink for £15-20. What happened to all those sites selling imitation ink for under a tenner?

I keep a live squid in my printer. With ample food and water they can provide you with all your ink needs.

I'd complain if it shafted my £200-odd quid printer... I'm sticking with the manufacturer's ink, because then if it does shaft my printer, I can give them hell about it.

yup, on low end printers, cheap shit if fine, but on decent printers, you're better off being careful

i have an epson c62plus. its as low as it fucking gets.
When it finally does break proerly (ive already had to fix insides with tape & wire) I shall be blowing it up. Properly! video will be provided.
I nearly threw it out of my 3rd floor window in a fit of rage when at uni, but in the end couldnt be bothered. Its not even worth taking to the dump

Re: blowing shit up.
I saw two programs on TV recently which both seem to like blowing stuff up, but with a few differences which made me think about the relative legality of doing it.
There's Brainiac, and the US equivalent Mythbusters - I think I've even seen them cover the same myths. Anyway, in Mythbusters when they do one of their (admittedly far larger scale) explosions they have half the local fire brigade out "just in case", and they have to okay each step with them. In Brainiac they just seem to go to a field somewhere and "make sure everyone legs it".
Perhaps there's some legal difference between what you're allowed to do - particularly when you have incriminated yourself by videoing it, or perhaps Brainiac just don't show all the safety stuff 'cos they think it's funnier that way, whereas on Mythbusters they assume you actually care about the well-being of the presenters.

I was surprised to see Brainiac referenced in IQ recently, those shows are a world apart

Brainiac is shit. They have an unhealthy obsession with fire exinguishers.
