Shitty Action Movies

Post by Nickface »

So a friend and I have what we affectionately call "Shitty Action Movie Night™" We have a long queue of movies to watch, but I'm always happy to add more to it.

What I'm looking for are some awesomely bad action movies. Usually the gems are found in the direct to home video market, but not always. Here are just a few stunning examples:
<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091003/">Eliminators</a>
<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115647/">Behind Enemy Lines</a> (Not the mainstream movie of the same name)
<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101509/">Breathing Fire</a>
<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0321997/">Detention</a>
<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089243/">Gymkata</a>

I'm always happy to find other amusing, awful movies to add to the list. If any has a suggestion, please share!

Missing in Action - Chuck Norris classic!
Remo: Unarmed and Dangerous - That's what it was called when I was a kid anyway.

I should also mention that we also have plans for marathons of both the Rambo and Mad Max series.

The first one is a good film, not genuinely good, but bad good, the sequels are shit, really shit, but I still watch them. The wild west setting one with burts grand dad fighting graboids is truly terrible, but I watched that one too.

Also, try andy sidaris films, like picasso trigger or savage beach, shite acting, shite direction, shite screen play, shite props, tits, guns, cars, wigs, big shoulder pads. Also, a gun that is meant to be hi-tech james bond style that is really a calculator stuck to a crutch, all of the win.

I watched some of XXX2 the other night. 5 minutes of negative black stereotypes was all I could take before switching off.

Ooh yes, ice pube. 'Ghosts of mars', the truly terrible john carpenter flick with pube as 'desolation jones' and that bird who got nekkid in species as some sort of shite cop. It's a fucking bad film. :likesitall:

:above: Did you get your swept copy to work? I seem to recall unpacking it was going to be an arse for you. Also to save time

ALL Chuck Norris films.

ALL Stephen Seagal films.

ALL Jean Claude Van Damme films.

ALL (except the 2/3 comedies that totally fucking suck) Arnold Schwarzenegger films.

:above: QFT.

Layer cake was all of the win. I wasn't too fussed about transporter, turn off the brain and watch action flick, but not shit. Yes the sequel is a bit 'wtf?! Motherfucking crane! Shutup!' And crank...well...less said the better.

I think you awesome/shit compass is bent hehulk.

We watched some random Delta horse movie which had Chuck Norris' son, and the bad guy was Gimli. I have to say, it was so bad, we had to shut it off. It wasn't even good shitty, it was just complete shit.

Also, sometimes we can substitute "shitty" with "over the top", and thus transporter is perfectly acceptable. :)
