the ultimate steal by some chance?

Ran by MS for educational establishments, perfectly legit, all you need is a college/uni email and maybe need to send them a photocopy of your campus card or something.

One person out of 6 in our office has Office 2007, since it came on her new PC. It keeps trying to save stuff in non-backwards compatible formats, and generally not working with the things that 2003 does fine. All the buttons etc are in totally different places and I don't like the layout at all.

Uni has '07 here, it's moved stuff around that's been pretty constant for the last 10 years.

I want my programs to be easy to use, not spend 30 mins hunting for the fucking save button (yes, I did ctrl-s, but I still wanted to know where the main menu was).

Silly MS.

OFFICE 200X. SERIOUS BUSINESS!!!

But yeah, fucking stupid behaviour on 1 and 2. I mean setting the standard/default format to .docx ??? That's just an IT Support nightmare!!!
