What's the strangest setup you've mined in?

High heels.

I did it in a destroyer once.

In women's knickers of course.

This topic title is misleading.

I immediately (sp) thought of people sitting at their computers, mining veldspar and actually falling over and foaming at the mouth.

When I first started playing eve I mined solo in a probe for about 2 weeks solid :D

Took me just under 2 weeks to get silver into a procurer, then another few days for a retiever, and I was in that thing for months before I got my covetor. Then 9 months later (ish) came the hulk

Hehe, I remember first time I flew a barge, was so excited. Just before that, had been using a hoarder with 1xmining laser t2 on

I started this thread out of the guilty feeling of mining in a Dominix whilst my Hulk sits in a hangar, unable to tank the rats w/ my shite shield skills. With all of the Domi's low slots though, I'm able to fit 6 miner II's, a T2 mining laser upgrade, and my tank, while having ample drone bay to use mining drones, and switch out combat drones when rats arrive, (rather than tanking them forever, I just kill them as they show up for the bonus isks).

It's not ideal by any means, but it does get me ore!

Thousands before you have mined in dominixs. I use to know someone who mined mercoxit with a tanked domi, but this was years ago when mercoxit really was the IWIN of 0.0 mining

hehe i saw frizi mining in a raven once, i've mined in an apoc before and a geddeon before that. never cared much in mining terms b4 i had a bs.

an Apoc for me, with 8 Mining Laser II's, otherwise a Bestower, with one mining laser II, left overnight firing at a damn big rock

all t2 miners (8 or 9, can't recall) and a mining upgr in the low. Rest of teh lows were for cpu ugr I recall. never tried fitting a tank, probably couldn't

outmines billy in a retreiver with T2 strips, at least in hi-sec

Ummm, I've only really mined in mining ships, so I have to say my most exotic was teh noob ship from the tutorial with 1 civ miner and 1 civ gun-thingy-mabob. Raping roids 1 unit a cycle! (or so it felt like)
