Login got better a bit later on and I managed to fix the spacky keyboard by nobbing around with my add-ons.

First time I've had any issues with a patch, narf.

Hrm. I now have to re-spend all my Hunter's "points". Bit of an Immersion-annihilating contrivance, as described in this excellently written rant I found today:
