Picked up this gem off SHC. If I were to gang up with a mission runner with my alt, but left the alt docked up, and the missioner accepted all rewards for gang, would I benefit from the standings gains? If I reimbursed the rewards at 1k isk per LP plus a payment for every standings gain the missioneer would profit nicely too.

It's sounds like a great way to get standings for an industry toon up so it can use high level R&D agents (which can then provide cheap datacores for the corp).

If it does it'll be an exploit I would have thought.

Either:

1) CCP have been clever and thought about it, and made it so to get the gang reward you have to enter into the combat zone or get agression flagged (either supporting someone shooting npc's, or shooting npc's)

or

2) CCP havn't thought of it and you can profit from what could possibably be a lovely exploit.


I'd go with number 2 for now, but if someone blabs...well, don't expect it to last for too long, and mods will get tetchy as well.

My poor cousin, who was under the effects of controlled substances that his previous corp required him to use, has unknowingly supported operations agains the (insert faction). As such, his standings are now so low with that faction, that he is unable to find work. Also, without work, he is unable to purchase a ship with which to actually perform work! As a service to my cousin, I have been including him as a 'coworker' on services that I provide this faction. His standing has been increased, and he will soon be a self-supporting pilot working to further (insert faction)'s efforts. Once my cousin is back on his feet, he intends to repay me for my efforts.

Bimbled through eve-o a bit on this. It's far from being an exploit as it doesn't directly hurt anyone, and can only be done with the consent of all parties involved. Only thing is you don't get any faction gains from shared storyline missions (only the main dude gets those), only corp standing gains, so it's not a hugely significant bonus.

So, anyone missioning heavily up for a bit of business with my industry toon?

i do that with kenny to get his standings up. it only works when the gang member is in same system. i tried doing it the other day with kenny in a totally different region nothing. normally this is what i do, turn on dp and kenny, gang them, proceed to do mission solo turning in as group. only time i use kenny is if i need to get something far away or frig support (ie massive attack).

Yep, it works! Me and K00p do it a little bit (i.e one of us has to go AFK, so the other one just does the mission and hands it in) - you both recieve the standings/loyalty points/reward money even if one is in station

You wouldnt recieve bounties for the enemies killed (have to be in the deadspace I think) but thats not going to matter for standings grind!
