So at chapter 2-2 you have to talk to a character named Mimi and she tells you to go into lots of rooms (well 4) after you go into all 4 rooms and talk to her again the Wii crashes and makes a lovely "BRGHHHHHHHH!" noise until you switch it off.
You can get past this bug by collecting the key in the first room she tells you to go into (far one on the top floor with the green switch) go into 3d view and jump on top of the spikes coming from the roof to get a key.

I've discovered now that its a bug in all of the first batch.

My first introduction to this Wii thing resulted in my spilling my glass of wine all over the floor. I'll stick with my PC I think, it's safer.

Still got no firm date for when mine will arrive, which saddens me. Even if it is free, I still want to complain about it!

That's not a bug. In fact, I'd go so far as to call it a feature.
