Which gun(s) have you unlocked, and do you even like them?

I unlocked the L85A1, and it's great for longer ranges. I find it fairly easy to kill snipers when I find out where they are. For close combat, it's not too good, but it works. The big rule though is when you're going for range, make sure you use only single fire, because full-auto destroys your aim even prone.

I unlocked the other sniper, and I loves it.

how many points do you need for an unlock?

I believe it's 1000 points for the first one. You get a weapon unlock for every rank above PFC, in other words starting with Lance Corporal.


and I picked up a few M95's but I've never been able to hit anything with it. I fing the sniping in BF2 is much harder than CS:S. Having 30 rounds and a faster rate of fire with the L85A1 makes up for not knowing how to shoot because I can adjust my shots way easier.

Seemingly by virtue of installing Euro, I have two more unlocks on my original account, any recommendations?

DAO12, MK3A1, L85A1, G36C, PKM, F2000, L96A1

As I mainly play Eng or Support, the MK3A1 and PKM would be obvious choices, but I have heard good things about the DAO12 and the F2000 looks...interesting.

PKM certainly, i don't really like the engineer unlock, but it's better than the dao12

The other Eng unlock is pretty fun to use (MP-7), but you might have to unlock the Jackhammer before you can get it.

Has anyone tried the P90 yet (new anti-tank unlock)?

edit: oh yeah, the F2000 is king, extremely powerful and accurate

i stole one off a corpse, didn't really like it, sorta between the mp5 and the dao12, not accurate enough or powerful enough for my liking.

The P90's ace in Fallout. Strips an unarmoured target of large amounts of flesh in no time, in a rather satisfying animation.

The DAO12 is a must if you play a lot as AT, I reckon. And the F2000 is a great upgrade for assault as it gives you back the grenade launcher. Definately get the medic upgrade if you ever play as medic as it's a very nice gun.

The P90 is meh

I just got the PKM and still have one unlock left

the L96 (AWP, for cs:s players) is king of the sniper rifles too.

DAO-12 is my next unlock methinks, and the SCAR, i had a go of the DAO yesterday, the thing is nuts at CQB.
