So as far as i know this started happening when they did their whole community Beta binge, or at least that's when i noticed it.
I keep getting the boot from ANY server and told 'a connection to the VAC server could not be made' it happens randomly, no pattern but once it has happened, it doesn't stop. So i canne enjoy a game
Any help appreciated, cheers guys

Indeed, my av sometimes decides to mess around with beef, css, stalker, it now gets disabled when I play games, and turned on for when I'm
browsing trolling the internets.

You've tried disabling any Firewall you may be running? Especially the Windows Firewall, which may be on without your knowledge. I was getting this recently and turning the WF off fixed it for me.

Do VAC checks occur using IP addresses or a named address? Could be DNS issues.
