Valve: Big Announcement Next Week

This week's Steam update reveals that Valve has a big announcement coming up next week, which I assume isn't related to the "Meet the Engineer" movie, that's coming out in a few days.
You've met the Heavy, You've met the Soldier. In a few short days you'll be able to meet the Engineer, the third character to introduce himself from Team Fortress 2. The high-definition movie will be posted on Steam early next week.
While the Heavy considers bullets-per-minute the measure of a man, and the Soldier values an unusually deep knowledge of military philosophy, the Engineer is content to solve problems. Practical problems. Click the thumbnails for a sneak peek.
In other TF2 news, stay tuned for a pretty big announcement next week. You're going to want to hold off on planning any vacations until you hear what we've got to say on Tuesday.
What do you think it will be?

That's my thought, same as they did with CS:S/HL2 I suspect (released a beta to people who'd preordered)

It arrives when it arrives. Its not a game that needs to be rushed. I'm really enjoying the movies, gives far more depth to the game than 1/2 a page of shite in the front of a manual ever will.

ANNOUNCEMENT MADE:
http://www.steampowered.com/Steam/Marke ... sage/1189/
Tempting, as I could offload HL2 and Ep1 on someone, or use them in my 2nd account, but I think I might rather wait and see if they release other packages.

This
Because it looks like at the moment:
Ep 2 - $29.95
Portal - $19.95
TF2 - $29.95
I assume this is to artificially increase the value of the Orange box, if not and they don't have a black box type package coming then they are wankers.

You're still getting 3 games plus 2 to give away for the usual price of one game, that's good value. I'll still wait until closer to the 17th to see if they announce a black box version though, if not I'll order the orange box.

Only 21. I do have every Valve game except Half-Life: Source though.
