Beacon's Perch to Droknar's Forge

Post by Nickface »

Has anyone done this without a runner? I'm looking at fighting my way through there (mostly because people say it's foolish and idiotic, two of my main driving horses!). Unfortunately the henchmen are meant for the people who are going to Kryta, and so are shitty at fighting the 20+ level guys there. Anyone want to get together and give it a go?

I'm going to try to get my guy up to level 20 before any further attempts, but when everyone is about ready, we can toss a game up in the 5cheduler ;)

It's not a mission, it's just running between two points with a shitload of creatures. My guy hasn't ascended yet because he's holding out to do the missions with a friend of mine IRL. I just like running around and exploring and beating the crap out of stuff. We'd keep going south down the mountains from Beacon's Perch to Droknar's Forge with a stop at whatever that camp is called between.

Running there would take over 2 hours, and at times you would need at least 6 lvl 20's. The KD worms would be the biggest problem, its just to hard to fight one win theres tons of others popping up killing you.

Hmm, I think it's going to be quicker getting there by ascending!

Its not that hard to beat the knockdowns from the worms, if you use "Balanced Stance" with "Charge!" balanced stance = you can't be knocked over, Charge! = run 25% faster =)

If theres 50+ wurms in a row, your not going to be able to keep it running forever, so you will get knocked down repeadetly.

Unless you had the shout ability "Killroy Jenkins", although its only for one NPC, to bad.

TEN MEMBERS!
With ten people in the guild, and celestial sigils at a low 50,000 Gold it would mean that each member would have to pay a small 5,000 Gold tribute for us to get an extremely snazzy guild hall to slack around in and meet up in. Understandably, seeing as a lot of you have only just started the game, you're going to have a tight budget and a small wallet - Fear not, I'm not taking donations just yet, maybe later.

Everyone still interested?

[Edit: BUGGERFUCK! Put this in the wrong thread.]
