Click Here: Microsoft's Sidewinder Mouse From Various Angles

Sure, Microsoft's Sidewinder Mouse has features coming out the whazoo. But design-wise, the mouse leaves a lot to be desired. Not Microsoft's fault! That company is wall-to-wall engineers. No wonder the new mouse lacks slick industrial design and looks like a vehicle from
Dune. (Not that there's anything wrong with
Dune!) And the red on all black color scheme is, well, kinda
emo. Anyway, we're picky and bitchy. You, you take a look. Let us know whatcha think.

Who designed that thing, Ming the Merciless?
It's even more hideous than that Logitech gaming keyboard.

I do, I even said as much... then I bought one anyway.
I'm going to pretend it's sexy though.

Its not sexy, but its less aaargh! than this mouse. This mouse is the genital appendage of an 80's porn robot. Plus side, if someone robbed you, you could beat them using that thing sticking out the side.

jesus! why dont they just put an optical sensor on the bottom a keyboard, that things like its been designed by me when I was 7.
Like when kids draw tanks and stuff but put 8 turrets with 20 machine guns and rocket boosters on.

maybe the m$ engineers let there kids design it?
Well at least its not a mac mouse you can have 2 buttons but its abit crap and the ball wheel thing is quite good apart from the fact you have to clean it constantly because it stops working all the time.

I agree that the mouse does have a certain... M.A.S.K. quality about it.

If you press the buttons in the right combination, the sides of the mouse open up and a jet plane shoots out of the top.

A full size jet plane, or a miniature one? Actually, I'd buy one (or more) so I could have teeny little eurofighters/f22's flying round my head creating a no fly zone for gnats, bluebottles etc, because they tend to offend and annoy.
