Right, so as my computer is a piece of shit, I need upgrading.

I'm not going to upgrade my motherboard, because I bought such a crazy bizarre one in the first place, that it has an add-in card with Socket AM2 support.

What do you guys think of this stuff?

Hi, my name is Joshua Krell. I like cheese.
Awww, thanks man. Didn't realise you had such feelings...

About the spec. I'm out of touch, but I'd be tempted to say "MOAR RAM"

specs look ok, but did you check the price of the AM2 AIB? ISTR the price was expected to be quite high.

Is there nothing knocking round your house to ebay? No old lady to pimp yourself too? I know your feeling really fucking poor atm, but is there any way to stretch to c2d?

If not, the card will undoubtedly be good, plus if you suddenly get moar monies, you can use the upgrade with their exchange thingy so thats good. The ram is a good price, does it have lifetime warranty? All in all its gonna be faster, I'm guessing your psu is good enough? Also like berk says, do you have the AIB or looking to get it? I think because they don't sell loads, they'll cost a bit.

I had a poke about, the AIBs go for ~$40, but seem pretty few and far between.

 So they don't cost, but are as rare as hens teeth, that always seems to be the way.

I found mine at eWiz.com for $34 if you go through pricewatch.com.

You have the same 939Dual-SATA2 right?

Yup, my backup gaming machine is on one, but I figured a proper upgrade was a better idea.

Probably. For me though, $35 is a lot better to my wallet than a new mobo.
