I came across some people talking about these organisations. They're actually very interesting.

Eve University is a very well know training corp that takes on new players (< 6 weeks game time) and teaches them a bit about everything in Eve. It's free and you stay until you are given a 'graduation certificate', often with a reference and assistance finding a corp. Basically what we did with Fw4ppers and a good alternative if we get any 5punkers or friends starting the game and we don't want to train them ourselves.

Agony Unleashed otoh run PvP oriented courses for everyone, including more experienced players. The courses cost between 5 and 20mill and can be corp sponsored. You do not have to join AU to go on the courses.

It might make a welcome change of pace for some people, or give you the confidence you need to PvP more. I'm actually considering giving it a go myself! Have a look at their website and let me know what you think. If there's enough interest I'll set up a corp account with AU.

Edit:

Corps getting AU grads will note:

-They understand basic fleet commands.
-They will not be trying to tank T1 frigs.
-They will know how to tackle.
-They will somewhat understand the importance of EWAR.
-They will have shot at something other than a rat.

I heard about these guys when I was running Fw4ppers, and didn't think of them while recruiting! D'oh! I'd most likely benefit for AU training too, if I could only kick my carebear ways....
