I liked the previous two Bourne movies a lot, so I'll be watching this.

Mattt daaaammmon! Stabs a guy in the hand with a pencil after a vicious close quarters battle! The books are great, and the films are too. I watched the last one, thought wow, that was fucking great, whens the next one due? I'll bother to step inside the stupidly over-priced cinema for this.

Saw the first two earlier this week when they were on ITV2, and am probably going to see this one tonight. For no discernable reason, I prefered the first to the second. I think mostly because it was a little different to most action films in so far as Bourne had skills he didn't particularly know about, and he almost resented using them. The second one was a bit more gung-ho and so lacked that added element. That said, there's nothing at all wrong with a good old fashioned action film, and I hope this last one delivers!

Having watched this movie several times, I am now in a position to confirm that it is indeed totally awesome.

I liked it, but wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again, prefered the book and still think the first one was teh best.

Jason Bourne: Invulnerable to blunt horse trauma
They're good movies though, watched the first two earlier (since I hadn't seen them in aaages) and then swept Ultimatum to watch.

Well I thought it was fairly good, but not amazing. The fact that we had to sit right at the front, right at the side of the cinema sucked the big one, especially with all the fucking shaky camera action. Nearly enough to induce motion sickness at times. Besides that, I thought it was enjoyable enough.

I really enjoyed it, but the "Michael J Fox Camâ„¢" almost made me throw up. I also read a review that said Bourne was in danger of becoming a parody of himself - I thought this was especially true after he walked away from a major car crash, practically unscathed. At one point I thought they might reveal he was a cyborg.

I was going more down the Agent 47 Clone route myself, but the basics remain the same.

I dont get you people or rottentomatoes or yahoo critics...it sucked...there's no thought involved...no twists...no need to ponder about anything...it was 1 big chase seen...shaky view FTL...to get to the last 5mins
nice setup from the "asset" to ask "why didn't u kill me?" pfft...
did i miss something that was 1 bit original? sophisticated? interesting?
the fight scene in the bathroom was cool....for the 1st 10mins...then I realized it was just a ripoff of
Peter Griffin vs. The Chicken
how was it after every fight...every car crash...he had a limp for 1 scene then was miracously 99% cured the next scene other than 1 little scratch on his neck?
people should really lay off the self-medications and see what crap they are watching...and be pissed off like me...so what if my blood pressure is thru the roof...I'm tired of pretty mediocre crap...I want something great as it seems everyone else is content with lowering the standard of good...

do you not realize how large of a motherfucking bad-ass Jason Bourne is?

To be honest, I think it's a pretty valid opinion. The film was entertaining enough, but far from sophisticated or original. There weren't any twists, just a gradual increase in Bourne's understanding, and there were a few too many unbelievable elements such as his basic invulnerability. I enjoyed it (other than the shitty seats and Michael J Fox Camâ„¢), but it's not something I'll rush out to buy.

Slight over exaggeration, didn't notice the nod to David Kelly with the British journalist and all the stuff about sources? The way they mix tactics and action (phone in pocket), Wires put it quite nicely when he said it was like one big game of cat and mouse (you may see that as a bad thing but I don't).
I find with action films I get bored of the repetative action scenes and people flying though the air unloading clip after clip but with the Bourne films I found I didn't because they thought things through.

I've seen the previous two and was so utterly unimpressed I can't be arsed to see this one. I'll watch it when I catch it on TV or something.

Probably for the best - if the first two didn't grape your squildo, I doubt that this one would.
