Back to the topic - I never played HL1, and so feel that the reminiscent excitement of this mod will somewhat pass me by.

HL1 pretty much got me into PC gaming.

I can't wait for this to come out, seems like forever

I dunno, it's interesting the see the Half Life world develop, rather then reading about it on wikipedia :D

I was looking forward to Valves version before HL2 shipped, I was a bit dissapointed really.

This mod is what I wanted Valve to do, recreate the first game using source.

It's been close to forever as I believe they got compromised and then screwed by their backup company and lost a years worth of work (or close to that much)
