Yep. On phase 4 you burst through the last ragged cloth thing and into a scene of utter chaos. There's about 15 kids of various ages running in all directions, most seemingly armed with weapons varying from knives to 10mm SMGs. In the middle of the room, on a big but rather festering easy chair, is the bullet-riddled corpse of a particularly ugly and overweight old woman. Behind her is a semi-transparent tarpaulin that seems to cover a hole directly out onto the 'river', and there's a couple more tunnels similar to the one you just came out of on the two adjoining walls.

On hearing grimmie's exclamation, deej advances as well. I'll take video and other images of the body to send to Third Eye or whoever is in charge for identification. Then LOOTZ!

The really sad part is we're only going to be paid 350c, and spreading that out over the 5 of us currently in the gang's hideout, that's only 70c each. Including Spindle that's only like 58c each. Thank god for that blue we did earlier, because unless we score some major weapon stockpiles this will have been a rather low paying event.
Haha, yeah. Disadvantage of having a large squad. I didn't write it though, it's a published encounter.deject wrote:The really sad part is we're only going to be paid 350c, and spreading that out over the 5 of us currently in the gang's hideout, that's only 70c each. They're light fingered little bastards and all manner of goodies pass through their hands. You find out where they hold their stuff before they fence it and we'll come and help you get it. You get the body count, we get the hardware. How's that for a starter?

Whoa whu? Goose damn I blinked and missed it all then. For a second I thought Mama was going to be some sort of undead zombie ghoul - then I realised Deej had already killed her.
Erm, suppose I'll use my Illumination skill to flash the little kiddies (hur hur) and stop them running around.

Mephit and Grimmie can make unarmed rolls to grab random kids. Make a couple each if you want to kick/trip/slap another target of opportunity before they all vanish.
Don't go running away with yourself yet chaps. Mama Krutch might have died spectacularly quickly, but you don't know what's down the other two corridors yet. Looking around the room, both corridors have similar rag-strewn curtains. There's a few things in the way of trophies on the wall - half a Flick Scythe, a badly damaged FEN AR, a few bits of armour. One of the bits of armour has an SCL card on it, that of a human I&I op by the name of Jason Jones.
