Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
The dudes that were massacred at the end - "innocent" stooges or up to their necks with TT? I really couldn't tell, probably down to me misreading things.
Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Can't tell you about that. This plot line isn't finished yet.

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Doggers, did you have more situations planned out involving the gangs (Snappers and the like) considering they were a part of the BPN?
Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
The gangs were just the initial lead, since the PCs were almost certain to talk to them. The Snappers were supposed to be a looming threat that could be manipulated, but would be a problem if pissed off. Worked out pretty well, although the Snappers were a bit over-manipulated and made the BPN a lot easier - two groups of bad guys pretty much taking each other out. Still, it was earned by good tactics and roleplaying so that's fine. The Snapper base was written to be like a Deus Ex mission, so they could have gone in guns blazing or snuck in for a chat with Keane. The bit with Paddy the drunk was good fun, with the squad torn in half over whether he was talking bollocks or a useful contact. As it happened he was the only person in the area that knew about the Snapper base, and that's why he drank there; safest place in the area.

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
I think we should also thank the Snappers for their help in this - never know when we might need a favour.
Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Mr Daniels wasn't your brief on this BPN, so he's a little surprised to hear from you, but he gives you a contact number for Baile. When you contact him he seems quite pleased.

Damn you for making me quote on my iPad. The special characters take ages to write.

Hah! Unintuitive copy and paste For the win (by which I mean slightly less fail).

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Baile fawns over you. By his own admission his facility treats mainly cosmetic upgrades and the occasional human Op with Nuke Tendons. He manages to blag you a 10% discount by writing off some of his labour costs as training in combat Stormer implants. His work is very good; combined with your own regeneration the implants are healed in just over a day.

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
ok, I'll subtract 270c from my totals then.
Eraser will promise to return for the Assertion tendons when he has the money, unless they want him to advertise the Stormer Configuration line so he can pay for it sooner? (+4 rep with Karma - going for the specific line rather than the whole company)

You don't have the SCL for that yet (off the top of my head, I can check when I'm back home).
