Nik, can you track where that drone has gone with your flyers? If it intercepts our guys then they're fucked.
Joose, anything happening with the guard on the back gate? Or is he still brown trousers from Al and Leland?

Also, the small drone that was doing the rounds earlier, what's that up to?

Intuition 4 + Perception 3 +4 cybereyes +2 actively looking = 13

=7 hits

I'll do a hearing perception test as well

Intuition 4 + Perception 3 +4 cyberears +2 actively listening* = 13

=4 hits

*I figured add this because Frank's ears can record/separate/process different sounds at the same time. If you think I should leave it out then shout out! (I think I asked you this over xfire already but you never replied, it was about 4am though :P)

At first glance, the guard seems to be talking to himself. When you look closer though, you realise he has an earpiece in. He still seems shook up.

The drone is coming around the corner, fast. Its going in the wrong direction for its regular route, and is a good couple of mins early.

Going to send Lenin back to look after the Limo and report back any gunfire or unusual activity. If I can do a picture-in-picture that'd be nice.
Jumping into Stalin with hotsim to make a sweep or two and find out where the big combat drone has arsed off to, should be able to do it faster like this.

Perception 3, Sensor 3, Hotsim 2, Control rig 2
5,5,4,4,1,5,4,5,4,1, = 4 Hits

Joose, a question on edge!

As I read the rules on edge I noticed the way it was worded was a tad unclear (to make a change). Am I right in thinking that spending an edge before rolling the test means you actually add a number of dice equal to your edge rating to the dice pool?

eg - man has five edge, he calls a use of edge spending one point to take him to four. He then adds five dice to his dice pool and they all have 'rule of 6' applied. The next time he calls edge before a roll he only adds four dice to his pool (until the next adventure).

I've got the other uses of edge down fine.

I'll shoot at that drone tomorrow.

uh, no. If you add a point of edge to a dice roll, you add one die to the pool, and then the whole pool gets the rule of 6 thing. You can add multiple points of edge to a roll, and that would add multiple die.

So, for example, if your dice pool for a roll would be 7, and you added 1 edge, then you would roll 8 d6. You would then roll extra for any of the original pool that come up 6. You would *then* roll extra for any of *those* that come up 6, and so on. Your edge would be reduced by one until the GM says your edge is refreshed (usually at the end of a run).

Well that's what I thought until I re-read the rules on edge and then it seemed like the :above: :above: scenario actually made more sense to me following the wording in the book. I figured it was an extra incentive for spending karma on edge.

Regardless, I'll shoot at the drone -

I'll observe in detail for weaknesses on the drone -

Intuition 4 + Perception 3 +4 cybereyes +2 actively looking = 13

= 5 hits

I'll then take aim at any weakness I see and call the shot

Agility 7 Long arms 6 +2 smartlink +1 take aim +1 edge -3 drone size -2 drone speed -1 called shot = 11

= 8 hits

No range modifiers, damage from rifle is 8p with the called shot.

Shazam!

Yeah. I'd like to get a wriggle on, but I'd also like to preserve the slim chance that we can still blag our way back out. Or at least preserve my car.

And, indeed, kablooey. The little drone asploads into pieces, which drop out of the air.

Grimmie, there's no sign of the combat drone, looks like it might have gone into the building. On hearing the other drone go pop, the guys on that side of the building that have not already done so leap into the cars, which tear off down the road. Looks like they are heading round to your side of the building. At the speed they are going, its not going to take them long to get to you, you have a couple mins tops.

Those of you at the building just get clear of the doors before they slam shut. You can hear an automated voice inside telling residents to remain calm, and stay in their rooms.

Girly helpfully decides this is the right time to Freak the Fuck Out, and starts thrashing at you in a panic. You are not in any danger of getting hurt, but physically moving her to the car is going to take a Strength or Agility test with a target number of 1.

Recalling the mission description, the only orders were to keep our target safe.

I'm jumping back out of Stalin and remoting the two of them over to the guard cars now that the ground troops are out of the building and presumably on their way to el limousine.

Can I see what sort of cars these are, and make a judgement on whether or not I'd be able to pepper them with bullets and take out the people inside? If they look bullet proof I might need a new plan.

Chopper, you feeling well enough to hop the wall, punch the guard in the face and open the gates to let the limo out? I bet you are!

Al, sounds like I've stirred up a hornets nest, I'm guessing they're hot footing it round to this side of the building. If you and the boys extract with the target then me and Nik will discourage any followers and hopefully buy you all a clean getaway in the limo and the convertible.

Jon, how many seats has your car actually got? I'm just thinking of how we transport the target.

I'll go with an agility test, as I have only 2 STR.

Agility (4): 4, 1, 6, 2: 1 hit.

EDIT: Chopper jumping the fence again is just going to get him attacked by the fucking spirit again, and I'm to busy to keep him from dying again. :P

I'd chuck my wheeled gun-drone out the back if it was in a rack, but it isn't.
It'd take a minute to get it out and another minute to get it back in - and that's valuable guard chasing time.

Not sure on the seats, couldn't tell but from the picture in the Arsenal book it looks like 2 with a possible bit on the back for people to hang on (although I wouldn't recommend it!)
Joose? Can you shed any light on this?
