Anyone tried breakout kings yet?

It's another unlikely expert helps police catch bad guys type thing, only with a few unlikely experts.

Something new appears.

Marcel's Quantum Kitchen

Is some chef I've never heard of (apparently was on top chef or something, seems a bit of a dick) doing molecular gastronomy and catering.

Very reality tv, very american.

Unsurprisingly, not very good.

The TV show? I fucking love Southland. I love the black & white/patrol cop aspect of the show, and Det. Adams has a bunch of personal issues that she doesn't seem to deal with but then she is all business and will take you fucking down. The Season 1 finale, the episode right before the Season 2 finale, and the Season 2 finale itself are totally badass. It's visceral and feels more real than any other police dramas because they don't go crazy over the top, these are more like actual situations that would happen.

I liked it a lot. I've got the second series on DVD, but for some reason I've never got around to watching it.

Also got season 1 & 2 of Mad Men which I've never watched - I'm worried it wont live up to the expectation.

Deadwood has great atmosphere and dialogue. Although I think I got distracted after the first season and stopped watching.

I've just sweeped season 2 of Eastbound & Down, which I've mentioned on here before and only another 6 episodes. A very good show.

New seasons of Great British Menu and Bizarre ER have started.

I suggest watching in that order. :P

The Shadow Line

Starts this Tuesday. Plot sounds good, and the actors involved are some of the best. I'm looking forward to this.

Game of Thrones

I mentioned this in the recommended reading fred. Starts this Sunday (17th) on HBO. Could be epic.

I'll definitely be sweeping but if you have Sky Atlantic it's showing on there the next day.

Chaos

It's Chuck's first season awesomeness, The Good Guys / Burn Notice (well, pretty much the Matt Nix genius) and Human Target thrown into a blender. Probably cancelled before the whole thing airs but it's good fun.

Only starts this Tuesday if your TV is at Princess Anne Theatre in Piccadilly. Actual broadcast seems unannounced so far.

Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe

This slid in under radar. Not had a chance to watch it yet but more Sam can't be all that bad.
