Everyone else, Eraser in particular who is next closest, feels the blast but doesn't suffer the effects. It throws a few gurneys around and shreds the plastic sheeting hanging around them. Grimmie, although your ears are ringing you're otherwise fine. Shall I assume that once everyone regains their composure you give the panicked staff that ultimatum again?

There still seems to be mostly a commotion at the back of the room, but it's quieting down. A couple more blokes in battered and mismatched armour slowly emerge from behind the central column, arms stretched out at their sides;

So, we're looking for a control van, or the equipment to build a controller, right?

Are there exits in this room, or is this all there is down here?

Pretty sure we found the control van. We ran it off the road, remember? I think we are now looking for the fellas who put it together and any spare bits they have lying around.

There's another exit opposite looking pretty similar to the one you came in through. There are stairs going down. The people left are huddled together near it looking very panicky. The armoured guys continue to protest their innocence and one is still edging towards the door you came in by.

I'll point Bertha at the edgy one's guts and start walking towards him.

Grimmie nods down towards the other door.

Wont you, big-fella?

That's not a fair assessment, they ran themselves off the road trying to take me out.

I really need to write up those chase rules.

I think we should send one of them down first, if there are more drones then at least we can waste a prop in finding out rather than one of us. Anyone in disagreement?

I'd rather not send a guy in armor into an unknown area unsupervised. I'd rather do it carefully on my own rather than let some dude we don't know do it. For all we know, he might be wanting to go down there to turn on as many drones as he can to kill us, or to get a huge gun to shoot us or any number of things.

I'll just take it slow and be especially cautious. I do have the fancy A/V stalk and what not after all.

Hal will put a call in to get whatever the SLA equivalent of a paddy wagon is sent over. I would rather have them waiting outside for a bit than have us trying to keep hold of a bunch of prisoners whilst we wait on them.

That'll be the Shivers then. They have armoured vans (pretty common on Mort in all forms, including the control van) for mass prisoner transit, although APCs are more commonly seen.
