It can't really be a prequel, and I'd be surprised if they told a radically different story. However, it's about time as it looks as though the world still needs reminding what a disasterous idea privatised policing is.

Well, certainly seems to be a bit grittier than the last Superman reboot, although that's probably because it's Snyder and Nolan.

That looks like it could be amazing or a complete mess. Not many films could fill over 5 mins of trailer and not give away the entire plot, without being deliberately obtuse anyway.

Plus it's by the Wachowski Brothers (and sister), so it should be fairly mindfuckerybonkers.
