Apparently there's now a public release of HoxHud, which contains many shinies, mostly useful for the anticheat though (stops you getting bummed out of moneys in public games)

Incidentally, I feel like payday is doing DLC right.

Yes, there's a fuckload of it, but there's none that's essential, and if your party leader has a mission, you can play it, and use all the shiny extra items.

That and the DLC isn't horribly overpriced, admittedly it's not cheap either, but it's on sale often enough if you want to be tight.

I agree, their system is pretty good. I also like the "everyone gets a bonus even if only one bought the DLC" bit, it's good.

ill probably grab some of it at some point but I've not bought any dlc so far, but its great that it doesn't segregate players and actually gives party's access to it if someone has it, this is how content DLC for multiplox should be done (vanity DLC is a whole other beast in itself) EA and dice, take note.

Quite a lot of fun, tactics and planning needed, but if you're on top of it, it should be quite rewarding.

However, the pack is a fiver, and somewhat lacking in outright shinies compared to the other. So I'll wait for the sale.

Incidentally, thinking about the DLC, I'd rate them in yonder order;

Gage Weapon Pack #0 >Everything else > GWP2> armpit transport

All DLC is 67% off in the sales. I picked up the weapons pack off Berk's last post.

On sale, they're all worth having probably, but the GWP #1 gives the most utility for your money.

I've got a funny feeling I bought all the DLC last night after getting home from the pub (pissed).
