Yes, tried that but it's totally annoying. Been trying out a bit of coop System Shock 2 and lo! It is good. I still prefer a bit of Op Flash coop from time to time, but since it's quite slow in comparison to say, BEEF, it's not to everyone's tastes.

I think SS2 is abandonware. I could be wrong, but I used to have it somewhere and I've never had a floorware anything.

I believe you are correct. I could be wrong, but I think there was some attempt being made to update the engine as well. Dont know how far it got though.

is it worth makibng another thread or editing the first post with a list of co-op games? I was actually looking around for a list of co-op games online a couple of days before this post, havn't found a goodlist anywhere. What about a new section in the forum for co-op? it could attract people?

SS2 doesn't work on Windows XP, does it?
I played it on Windows 2000, it being superior to Windows XP in too many ways to
mention in one post, and it runs fine.
However, I believe you should be able to get XP to run it by doing the following:
1. Install Offical Patch:
http://www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/games/ ... h.exe.html
2. Add The Windows XP Fix:
http://www.lanime.com/ntx/ss2fix/SS2MTFIX.EXE
3. Do this:
You will need to edit the shock.cfg file in the System Shock 2 folder on the hard drive.
Open the shock.cfg file with notepad, and add the text "safe_texture_manager" on a
line of its own. This change will become active when the file is saved.

That FEAR co-op intrigues me.

I wouldn't bother. There's an enormous bug which means you cannot progress any further than a collapsing cave, which affects pretty much all copies of the game, even fully patched. The company never fixed these catastrophic bugs before they fell into liquidation.
For FUCKS SAKE. And I thought it was just my computer being a cupcake. I don't know if I can be bothered to reinstall it though.
I have this with the expansion. Never installed them, I'd be willing to give it a go with someone though.

I can get past that bit, if you look back in this thread I've linked to a console command you can type in to get past it.

Go here:
http://www.vampirebloodlines.com/patch/ and get the patch.
Then, go here
http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=7489 for the latest unofficial patch (i.e. the ones that work)
It is an awesome game; well worth the effort required to get it working.

I installed both of those patches, it just made a different part of the game crash.
Whenever I spoke to heather in the infirmary the game died.
I canny be bothered.

Thanks, I did see, I was mostly annoyed at the fact that it wasn't my computers fault, but I didn't get around it. Why's it in the co-op thread, anyway? It doesn't co-op, does it?
