Well, nothing planned yet. There was a possibility of using my office for a nice big lan with lots of internet and stuffs. However i have now quit that job, so that probably* cant happen any more. Will have to wait for some time when folks are away.

Anywhoo, this thread is for Brumbash4. If any news of a proflan emerges i will make a new thread.

* Probably is not definitely. I left on good terms, and there may be colleagues there i can convince into smoothing it over with the boss.

For shame, for shame.

Why do people say that money is too tight to bash? Bashing isn't that expensive, in fact i think its cheaper than the average weekend out.

Bash expenses apart from travel is just £14 for the food, maybe a little extra for drinks.

OH YEAH I FORGOT TO MENTION.
Spice Buffet have pulled a Jimmy Spice's and upped all their drink prices.
Grab one of the drinks menus and be VERY CAREFUL about what you order.
They will fleece you if you're not careful.

it is indeed not that expensive, but you have to keep in mind that i don't have a job, so money is scarce.

right. after discussion with my boss, i've been told i can have the days either side of this off. Now failing WW3 kicking off, this means i could in theory take 4 other 5punkers from the Oxford area (OX10 sort of way). Any takers?

I do believe it's best to get a train to the airport rather than new street, the distance isn't that different, but the traffic is generally quite bad.

Anyone fancy picking me and KV up from where we land? I'll supply times as and when I has a cloo.

As it turns out... I'm getting the train from uni to Brum the night before the bash for a gig/brothers birthday... so I could be a possible if the space is there!

If you're landing at Bham International Train Station then there are a ton of black cabs outside. If you give us a ring before you arrive I can see who has turned up at the bash with a car, or give you a private taxi hire number which will be cheaper. (Usually ~£7)

Same here, I'm pretty sure I remember my way to the station.

NP, we'll most likely grab a taxi.

Fucking faff getting the tickets, they kept selling out at 2am this morning, so my credit card ended up locked because of errorz. Booked on a different card and that will now take me over my overdraft again, bollocks.

A2B Taxi are okay, if you quote a postcode/house number before they start driving even the stupid ones can shove it in their sat-nav.
