I actually managed to leave 5punk for ages the other day at home and it didn't log me out, but it did remove all the unread post icons except the news one. I know for F.A.C.T there was stuff needing to be read.

This doesn't fix the problem, but it should make it slightly less annoying.
This Search mode lists updated topics from the last few hours, regardless of whether you've read them or not. Excludes News Reader's topics but not replies.
