I think we'll be fine against any number of regular carrien under 500.

Possibly.

The mutant (badly injured from a nasty chainaxe wound) takes another swing at Eraser and catches him square on the chest for 3 PEN, 9 DAM, 1AD.

PHASE 2

The wave of carriens crashes around Eraser and Deject, some stopping but most swarming past towards Grimmie and Dirk.

Eraser - 0m/0m
Deject - 0m/0m
Grimmie - 45m/46m
Dirk - 48m/49m

Eraser, Deject, Grimmie please.

So thats a total of 4 damage and 2 wounds taken.

He's gonna pay for that.

7,2,+10
Total:19

PEN 4 DAM 10 AD 3

Edited to add the -2 for wounds.

Ah, no. Sorry if you mentioned the wound last time and I didn't spot it. It didn't penetrate so no wound, it's all bruising damage. Which would give you an extra +1 damage. The beast expires to reveal a throng of grinning lesser carriens to step into its place.

Ahh, I thought it had penetrated on the first one, as it reduced my pv to 6 and did 7 damage...

You only get a wound if the PEN is greater than your PV. At least that's how I've always played it, it has been a while since I read the rules.

Fair enough :) Makes heavier ammo more dangerous than a carrien with a hockey stick I suppose.

Makes AP ammo useful for causing wounds too. Anyway, Carriens have their own ways of being dangerous.

Most heading towards Dirk and I? Pissflaps.
How long before they reach me? I could grab the 603 and spray a bit.

Another couple of rounds (about 8 seconds) if you stop now.

Well I could use Blind (flash of light, CONC roll -6 or blind for 1 round, aoe 10m) when they get here, or shine a hand light (2m wide, 25m beam) down the tunnel. They certainly won't like it. If all the bigguns have gone then the I assume the lesser Carrien will shit themselves rather than go into a bloodlust.

Is there any sort of roll I can do to best guess what they'd do?

Tactics or evaluate opponent are closest fit I'd say.

Bah, I have neither - and given it's bullet time I won't be able to ask the others. I'll stop moving now (I assume you can stop on phases you don't act in), wait for them to get within 25m, and then shine the torch into their beady eyes.

Shawing! I'll just be going for whichever carrien is in front of me, and I'll continue swinging all the time.

Long Knife attack!
Blade 1-H (4) - Vision (1): 3, 9 + 3 = 15

Long Knife: PEN 3, DAM 7, AD 2, and I get a Damage Bonus of 2 and a +1 PEN for my armor, so 4 PEN, 9 DAM.

The carrien already looks battered, probably from one of Dirk's bombs. It crumples with blood spewing from its neck.

PHASE 3

The carriens around Deject and Eraser don't look to be in the mood for sparring as they press in close, threatening to dog-pile them.

Grimmie - 37m
Dirk - 44m

Eraser, Deject, Dirk please

I'll keep running for the moment and switch on my fist.

Okay, now it starts to get interesting...

8,10,+10 Total:28.

PEN 4 DAM 18 AD 3 to the one in front, huge sweeping swing with a growl to try another intimidate:

7,9,+5 Total:21 - I love the D&D Dice roller sometimes...

On phase two, if Dirk yells "Blind?" In .6 of a second, I can probably reply with a "Yes" or "No", right?

Tactics
9,1 +7 = 17
