Kudos to the writers of 24, the last third of the season was actually exciting and awesome.

You can pretty much skip that and get to the part where
, you'll lose nothing. The finale was bullshit though, it could've been a little lighter or a little heavier but they managed to hit the point between the two which was just plain boring.
Chuck's also over, it was good, though a bit rushed.

BBC's new "How to build..." series is pretty DI:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... Submarine/
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... et_Engine/
It's suprisingly indepth on some topics. The one about the nuclear sub (The Astute and her sister ships) didn't have the indepth look at the technology like the Rolls Royce jet engine one does, but focuses on things you perhaps wouldn't think about in the construction of a big project.
It's all very DI. Next weeks promises to be interesting although details are vague, something about prototype research for the military or similar.

These are pretty good. I enjoyed the plane one more than the sub, they broke an engine in the former. And it's a good advert for British manufacturing industry, what there is of it.

Film about the Fabulous Rights Movement. I particularly like the black and white clip right at the beginning.

I liked it as well, but seeing Gaius Baltar trying to play a 40's cool dude is just weird. I just can't see him as anyone but Gaius Baltar anymore...

Err, new Shooting Stars on Tuesday at 9:30pm, Beeb 2.
Angelos Epithemiou is now doing scores in place of George Daws, he was crap as a contestant so hopefully he'll be better there.
Quite surpised it's got another series narf, the last one (and that special they did) wasn't a patch on the older ones.

Wasn't the same after Mark Lamarr left

Too many shows don't know when to call it quits these days.
