Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Down the stairway then. I think this time I'll try to be sneaky.
Sneak (4): 9, 4 + 4 = 17
Hide (4): 4, 5 + 4 = 13

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
The steps curve with the wall of the shaft and you can hear something of a commotion coming from whatever's at the bottom. Echoey voices and scrapes and thuds of heavy equipment moving.

I vote you throw all the grenades down. Then, when the dust settles, throw the stormer down. Then go down and shoot anything thats still moving.

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
I'd kinda like to know there's something there to blow up first. Fragging an empty stairwell and alarming the entire place is not the best way to go about this.
I'll sneak further down the stairs and see what I can see.

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
It curves round for another 20m or so, the noise getting louder, before reaching a doorway on the inside of the curve. Poking your AV stalk in (I'm going out on a limb and assuming you're doing that), you can see a circular chamber with a cylindrical column in the centre. There's a clutter of machinery, crates, tables, beds, and stands, interspersed with rails holding plastic sheets to form crude partitions. Among all this there are figures pushing equipment trolleys towards the back, and a couple of men in dirty and scratched armour taking up positions to cover the door. You also spot, scattered around, a number of little Tek Trex drones.

Well, this looks like it'll be the big fight. I think we should get everyone down here for this. I'm thinking we need to toss in the concussion grenades and then enter in.

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Sounds sensible. You want me down there too? I'm quite definately not a combat guy, but I could stand near the back and mutter encouragement
Or, more usefully, I can stand ready with a Kickstart and be an extra set of eyeballs to look out for sneakiness. I'm not kidding about being shit in a fight though.

Well, if you're not going to shoot people, it's probably better if you stay out of the way. I'm thinking more like Eraser and Grimmie should be on hand for shootan time.

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
How many drones can deej spot?
Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
Five, but they're small and there's a lot of clutter so there could be more.

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
I think what we should do is toss in some frags to try and neutralize some of the drones that could be waiting to shoot our buttholes, then target down the armored dudebros and then who knows from there.

Re: SLA Industries: Hunting the Machine
How about concussion grenade, followed by an Ebb Bomb, followed by a weeping and wailing and gnashing of Stormer teeth? And bullets.
