It's semi-auto, so I'll go for the firing twice option:

Pistols (3) + Agility (7) - Range (3): 5,4,4,4,2,5,6 = 3 hits
Pistols (3) + Agility (7) - Range (3) - Recoil (1): 4,6,5,1,3,6 = 3 hits

Well, that went a lot better than I expected. My little notes say Damage 8P(f), AP +2

Whoops, forgot about this.

The creature, just like the others, has no idea it's being targeted. The flechettes punch through the creature, initially seeming to have done little damage but a split second after the second impact the creature topples over backward emitting the beginnings of a screech that slides into a bubbling wheeze.

(Yet another spectacular failure on rolls)

So two normal beasts left.

Alvrin!

I shall charge in behind Jon, just in case he runs into trouble.

Okay - your running rate would place you 5 metres behind Jon, or you can top it up with a running + strength test, each hit adding two metres (you don't have to run all the hits). Of course Jon is out of control and hasn't moved forward again yet (even though of course he's still moving), so you may want to try and anticipate how much more he's going to cover.

In fact after looking back I've not explained this. Jon is out of control due to being a mentalist. So he has charged the gribblies with a big metal lump on a stick whilst yodelling and doing cantata metal. To reflect this minor bout of insanity I will be moving Jon the randomised result of his sprinting test at a random point. To retain control of Jon Fab has to pass a composure test - 5 dice - willpower 1 + charisma 5 -1 for repeated attempt.

Athletics SG (4) + Strength (5): 5, 5, 6, 4, 3, 4, 4, 1, 2: 3 hits. So 2m behind?

So Fabbles has regained control of Jon.

As Joose has nowt to do, it is now Pants' turn again. 2 normal beasts left.

Eat swampwater, gribbly!

Exotic Ranged 6 + Agility 8 = 14
3, 3, 4, 5, 2, 4, 4, 5, 1, 3, 4, 3, 1, 2: 2 hits.

I swear these rolls are getting worse. DV 6 if by some miracle it hits.

Seeing as Jon has failed to get himself killed *again*, he will stop running, pull out his pistol and aim at whatever is nearest.

Next question is: can I actually see what's nearest?

It hits. You're still in your surprise round. The beast resists about as well as damp toilet paper does to a probing finger. Once again the sweaty heat and putrescent stench of the swamp hammers into its target and reduces it to a pile of stinking remains.

One beast left.

Fab, Jon unfortunately does not pull out gun. He's not that fast. This is happening in the space of seconds (despite me making it seem like months) If something survives to the next round then you can roll initiative and join the fight then.
