Hows about:

Don't really know what to do with these things, unarmed. Can I wait until someone has lopped a limb off so I can beat them to death with it?

2,6,5,3,6,4,5,4,3,2,4,5,2,1: 5 hits, for a total of 19! However, unless they are computer controlled gribblies, im not likely to be much help.

Yeah I just have a fairly poor initiative. I like to keep my Essence.

5, 3, 5, 4, 2, 6, 2: 3 hits. + 7 = 10

I get the feeling that I go last. :(

Woah, when you start that run about Chopper and a weird spirit possession, then you can break out the macros!

You know that stereotypical alelelelelelele scream kind of thing that extremists do? Jon's doing that as he runs towards them

Okies, this turn consists of Jon pre-empting everyone and doing his screaming berserker charge toward the enemy.

After that it's basically a free turn for everyone as the monsters are reacting to the noise not the group still. Between Jon and the gribblies sprinting, the gap between them has dropped to 20 metres, the rest of the team are a further 30 away. The shooters who called aims - Hernandez and Alvrin - get a +1.

The turn goes like so -

Ingress
Jasper
Hernandez
Smith
Alvrin
Ingress 2
Jasper 2
Hernandez 2
Ingress 3
Hernandez 3
Ingress 4

Jasper's joke is only heard by the loa by the way, but it seems to enjoy it as it climbs aboard your body. To you the air is thick with the scent of cigar, rum and bayou and the pulse of your heart beats like a war drum in your ears. Your guardian spirit is proficient at unarmed combat by the way.

Well as you don't have the range on your squirt gun your turn could consist of drawing your dart pistol or ares slivergun, calling a shot then taking aim for a +1 to your dice. These taking aims stack to equal half your aimed weapons skill. So in your case you can't get any more accurate, but it does help offset the -6 you're all at for the range and the -3 for using thermographic in pitch darkness.

Pnut, you have a different option. Your eyes are linked to your guns and with the image magnification allow you to negate the -6 distance modifier by using a take aim to calculate exactly where your shots need to go. You would only suffer the -3 for vision.

I've already pulled out my dart pistol which is loaded with Narcoject. Hmm, maybe I should have shot Jon to stop him charging down the tunnel!

In point of fact you've previously drawn the slivergun (although as you can see you called it a silvergun). So you would need to holster that, draw the dart pistol and take aim at Jon, he is only a -1 for distance to hit (and a -3 for light)

Now as joose previously stated there's not much he can do, I've just listed him in case he felt like flying some of his combat drones to you guys from his tower that's currently holding pattern high above the storm.

As he's busy with his RPG, I'll let him retcon that and we can skip straight to Pants.

The Loa paces forward ready to kick some mutant ass. Presumably I'm not in range for an attack. Can I hold my action until I'm in range?

Ah, forgotten I'd done that. I wouldn't really shoot at Jon (well, probably not) as I'm sure the gribblies would still feat upon him even if he were out cold.

Doggers - your action(s) would be moving forward to meet the creatures head on, you move 40m per turn whilst a guardian spirit possesses you, so if you used your turn of 2 init passes to move you would move to 10m away from the creatures, 10m in front of Jon and 40m away from the rest of the team. If you stay still then you can cast one of your spirits spells such as fear or guard and then in the next IP do something else.

There's not a right lot I can do in this kind of fight, like you say. I could fly my drones in, but they won't be much help either. I really need to get me some combat drones.

I'll do a quick scan for nodes other than ours, just in case. In fact, I'll keep scanning throughout, so we don't get snuck up on. Can't remember if I need to roll for that?

Well I'm not going to run up into range and stick my thumb up my arse so they can bite my face off. I've just noticed I can take one optional power per 3 horse, can I retcon elemental attack? It would save me having to beat them to death with my fists. What was its horse again?
