I've just got up to date with new series of Chuck - fecking good stuff! I thought McG had died? Probably thinking of someone else.

What, what, what! When did Castle come back on air?!

Richard Hammond's Invisible Worlds is quite good. Conceptually it's quite basic stuff but the visuals are very nice and it's all quite interesting. Occasionally Hammond feels it necessary to remind the viewers that he's a blokey bloke and not a science nerd, for some reason.

I got about 10 mins into that, but it appears to be one of those programs

that films 5 mins of content, then replays it for you 20 times in case you are too thick to see it the first time.
Nothing that new or interesting came up in those 10 mins so i turned it off.

Also, i think Hammond should stick to topgear.

Ooooh. That's also reminded me I need to get a load of older ones, and to make sure I don't forget, I'm actually going to write a note, a physical one, on paper.

Coo, I'm decadent.

I get worried when you use the term "a few gig" as your term for "few" often involves multiples of 10.

Well, my folder is just shy of 57GB, but there's some HD in there, and probably some duplicates.

I think it was modern marvels I had that was 97gig. Had a few other shows thrown in so it wasn't all MM. It also holds the record for my longest sweep at 35 days, I'm surprised it finished at all narf.

Just watched the second episode of Justified, and I think I found another great show to watch. Timothy Oliphant plays his role as the hard boiled Marshall brilliantly.

"Eastbound & Down"
It's not brand new, but it's new to me and I think very funny. Plus it's only 6 episodes, which is refreshingly short for a US show. Although I've only seen 1 episode so I hope the rest is as good.

Disjointed is one of the best words I can use to describe it. I think Ep 2 will be fairly different as otherwise I think it'll die quickly.
Season 2 started yesterday.

Moments of amusing, but basically still crap.

deject wrote:Justified started on Tuesday here, I think I like it. Timothy Oliphant shooting neo-nazi redneck assholes is pretty entertaining if you ask me.
The first episode was good and I'm interested to see how further episodes pan out. Got the second one to watch.

And I notice Olyphant sure is typecast. He did a voice in the recent Turok and they didn't even bother hiding it by giving him a proper name, just "Cowboy".

/edit
The annoying thing about the name of this show is that it always reminds me of this song:
