I'll carry on sneaking ahead a bit in front of everyone else then.

You going around the side to the security room then?

EDIT: Oh, and if you are sneaking there, do an infiltration roll for me just in case you meet anything you need to sneak up on.

Leland coughs in a rather violent nature for a couple seconds.
Leland wrote:Hey Al you got any good hooch on you? I haven't gotten a new flask since I lost mine. A finger of some single malt would really hit the spot right about now.
Leland draws his Colt America and very awkwardly checks it and chambers a round.

Leland quickly downs whisky.

He's not wrong. When they wear off (rating x 10 mins I believe, what rating are they?) you are likely to pass out again. You probably don't want to be down here when that happens.

That being said, shortly after the stim wears out, the building is going to be reduced to gravel, so you probably don't want to take too long regardless.

As for Choppers sneakings: You make it around the side corridor without incident, and are now outside the security room. The door is closed, but the display on the door reads "Error, Db missing", with an AR button underneath marked "open".

Frank wrote:If you're as bad with that as Al is with that hand cannon of his, point it away from me please. I'm kidding Al, you popped a big old hole in that ghoul that ran at you, plus the light fitting too, that died well, a warriors death! Ha ha!

Frank, to chopper via mpan wrote:Hey man, give us an all clear and we'll move up. Leland is having a shot of fire water to build his nerves a bit. Don't know how much good some whiskey will do him though, we're running out of time before he falls over again when the stims wear off.
Frank wrote:Right, once you've had that whisky get ready for an all clear from Chopper. Maybe we can make some dead presidents from some stuff in the security room.

Well, I do have about 15 minutes left before the patch runs out.

Frank wrote:I'll lead. You two stay close, but not too close, keep some space between us. Once we get past the corridor to the main lab I'll drop back a bit and provide cover. Remember to look at the ceiling as well, that almost caught us out last time. Ready? Good. Let's go.

Leland is too woozy and in too much pain to argue if he wanted to. He'll just stick next to Al.

Chopper wrote:Just 'cos I've not had chance to use one yet, I'll pop a flash bang round the corner of the door once it opens - just in case. Then I can charge in swinging at any ghoul fucker still in there!
Probably won't see this thread until Saturday now, so I'll do the roll for flash lobbing now if needed.

Agility (5) + Throwing Weapons (4) = 9

3 hits (for the love of god, please let me roll something other than a 3!)

Right, you activate the "open" button, and the door clicks, and swings slightly open. There's a bit of a smell coming from in there.

You deftly pop the flashbang around the corner, and it goes off in the room, but you don't hear anything reacting to it. You can, however, see flickering lights in the room, around the bit of open door.

You going in?

Joose, wasn't roman waiting for us? I think he intended to. If so and I'm there then I'll put a boot to the ajar door and burst in at the same time as the flasbang goes off, with my shotty all ready to make holes in things.
